Help!! My daughter weighs more than me and even her dad!!!!?

She went for her physical today and got weighed. She weighs now 189 pounds!! (about 14 stone) I weigh only 130 and her dad weighs 160. When I last weighed her a year ago she weighed a normal 120 pounds but she also has shot up in height. A year ago she was 5"4 and now she is 5"6. She is 13. Should I become a professional musician?

Alright. So im 18 years old and have been playing guitar for 6 years. Before that I played violin which I had been doing since I was 3 years old. Music is my pion and it has been for a long time, it is the reason I get up in the morning. All I ever think about is writing new songs and how I can incorporate interesting themes and ideas into my songs. I have a pretty experienced musical taste ranging in anything from Ravi Shankar to Kid Cudi but my favorite artist is Bob Dylan. I have been having this confidence issue though, mainly because I have never been in a (real) band. This is due to the lack of anything but metal musicians in my town(not to mention the fact that I am extremely introverted person), it just seems that no one has any interest in branching out from chugging and screaming. I have nothing against metal music it's just that I feel it is very frustrating to just limit myself to what everyone else has asked me to do. My big thing is experimenting. I had originally planned on going to Berkley School of Music but my parents didn't want to pay for any schooling that could lead to nothing in the future. How to properly set-up my air conditioning unit?

Thats about 300 Sq FT. So the unit is designed to handle about 400. If the room is rather hot and its on the upper level floor it may take several days of non stop running to cool the space. If not with in two days (as at night you dont have sun) it cant preform the cooling needs, the unit is too small for the capacity. Meaning you need to add a 2nd unit or buy a larger one. If the other room is seperated by a wall I hate to say but youll never get that room cold. You would need a 2nd unit. Or you can try a small fan to blow the air from the room that has the AC unit feeding it. Again, it may or may not work. The only other option is a portable AC unit which would have a high BTU rating and for sure would handle the space no problem.

I was stung by a bee today and I am deathly allergic. Went to the ER today to get the Epi shot and an IV ran with other antihistamines to stop my tongue and throat swelling anymore. I was informed of relapse. The doctor put me on steroids and told me to take Benadryl every 7-8 hours. But, the problem is about 4 hours of taking 50mg I start breaking out in a hive all over my body again. Can you take Benadryl every 4 hours without any issue? About a month ago i sprained my ankle pretty badly. It had gotten a lot better and doesn't hurt when i run because a week ago i started cheer and we run a mile everyday. We also do jumps. My 2 yr old daughter has recently been diagnosed with oligoarticular arthritis?

I'm in shock, can anyone please share any experience with this. Long story but my daughter has always walked with an intermittent limp for 12 months, I took her the doctors who shrug it off and said its because she was just learning to walk. I took her to A&E 4 weeks ago as her ankle was swollen, only after they tried to take bloods she also could not straghten her arm. I was so shocked as never noticed this before, after various tests she was diagnosed with oligo arthritis, obviously this was a big shock and I feel so guilty. She had steroid injections in her joints 2 weeks ago, the consultant told me i'd be amazed with the results but although her arm is slightly straighter she still has a slight limp. She's been crying with pain in her arm the last few days but still been giving her ibuprofen. I feel like I've been left to deal with this, I have not yet had an appt to see the consultant, opthalmologist or physiotherapist. Am i being too impatient? i'm findin it hard to deal with and would love to hear any stories? The main problem I have is that there are no answers, every child is different but I worry that as she has it early it will be aggressive, i don't know if it will spread to other joints and must admit I try to keep things as normal but can't help molly coddling her. i dont know what causes your son's eczema, but if it is allergy related, perhaps to dust mites, you may be able to ask your doctor about seeing an allergy specialist. they have a treatment called immunotherapy. basically whatever you son is allergic to, the specialist will find out and he will give him injections of the allergen. perhaps once a week. it sort of trains the immune system to see that the allergen is harmless and over time the immune system will no longer respond to that allergen. this however is a very slow process, taking if lucky 1 year of injections once, maybe more times per week. this treatment can take up to 4 years to have a great beneficial effect. this treatment is incredibly more effective on younger patients than with older patients.

Hear loss after wax removal by doctor.?

I Had normal hearing when I met my PCP for result of my HDL/LDL test. He checked my nose, eyes, and ears and saw a build up of wax in my right ear. he asked if wanted it removel, so I said sure ( as a preventive measure). He used a device with a wire loop on the end. As it turned out the removeal irritate the ear c so much that he said it "closed up" he gave ne a steroid and antibiotic drops to use for 7 day and still my I have about 10% hearing and sounds like I am using an ear plug in that ear. Okay so yesterday i was driving with my friends in my car. We were driving on the street when all of a sudden we saw these two people ( a guy and a girl) that resembled two kids we knew from school. So my periods have never came at an exact day of the month every month so I really don't know when I ovulate my cycle is all over the place.. I always went off the whole 14 days in cycle so about 2 weeks after my period I umed I would b ovulating. But now that I see alot of women saying that they have gotten pregnant having even a day after their period I'm freaking out cus that's my case.. I ended my period the 12th of last month and had unprotected the 13th few days after I was NOT feeling good... Can a slipped disk cause permanent nerve damage?

I had a herniated slipped disk in my lower back L4-L5, and went through almost 7 months of pain due to the disk pressing on the nerve which runs down my left leg to my big toe. I did physical therapy, which made the pain worse, then I went to a sports medicine doctor and he gave me a steroid shot in my hip, and sent me to a orthopaedic doctor, and at the time I saw the orthopaedic doctor, I felt fine, because the steroid shot helped a lot; so he didn't do anything for me but give me pain medicine. When my symptoms got worse, I went back to the orthopaedic doctor and he said that my condition was not severe enough to do surgery, so I just had to deal with the pain. I then couldn't stand the pain any more, so I went to a chiropractor, and he was able to loosen the muscles in my back enough that he could pop the disk back into place, and when he did, I felt great; until later that day. I was walking through the store, and suddenly I couldn't even lift my left leg to walk, and the pain was so severe that I hardly made it out of the store and to my car. I screamed out in pain all the way home, and I ended up in the ER. The doctor gave me a pain shot and muscle re-laxers and oral steroids and that helped, the pain is gone, and has been gone for about 5 months now, but now the nerve pulsates in the top of my foot and up my ankle, and today it started doing that in my left ock, and when I run my hand down my left leg, I can feel the nerve, it's like a tooth ache, and the top of my foot is numb so is the lower part of my calve...could this mean that I have nerve damage? And if so what could be done about it, if anything? I should mention that I am diabetic, I do have feeling on the bottom of my left foot, so I don't think it is diabetic neuropathology. I guess I'm just frustrated because I don't get any real answers from doctors, just lots of pain medicine, and I am tired of them because I can't function through my day normally.

My two year old struggles to sleep... "(?

Ever since she was born my two year old has struggled to sleep, as a baby until about 8 months she refused naps throughout the day and would fall asleep about 8pm ish. It never helped that as a baby her dad would let her sleep in our bed and now hes left us thats left me with the during the night toddles through to my bed from her. Shes now 29 months and does sleep throughout the day for about an hour, but my issue is for some reason she is hating going to bed... she cries and cries and screams and gets in and out of bed, i sit next to her bed reading a magazine not talking to her so im there but not interacting, and it will take me a good hour or so to battle her to sleep. ive tried reading a story, leaving her alone, soft music, more light, less light, new bedding, singing to her, simply ignoring her (other than to put her back into bed) and its like she has a pure fear of her bed. She shares her room with her 7month old sister so naturally wakes her up with all the fuss meaning she cries as shes so tired. My eldest is very sensitive, if people leave the house she cries and im not sure if shes started what seems like a fear of bed because she knows im leaving her when shes asleep. It works similar to this; half 7/8 she gets sleepy, take her to bed, after all the screaming and crying its about 9/10 before im back downstairs, shes up between 5/6am. The problem is when i was pregnant with my second i had severe SPD and struggled alone so some nights when i was in so much pain i couldnt take my eldest back to her bed to sleep and she had the luxury of staying in mummys bed. Im not sure whether to cut her nap during the day out which tends to be about 11ish, or to simply force her each night to bed, or to let her fall asleep downstairs with me and then take her up to avoid all the upset... im at a lose end now being alone to figure this out after my ex introduced the bad habits. Shes very very energetic, she wont sit for long at an activity and is very flitty so winding down with colouring probably wouldnt work. My concern for cutting naps is,that when shes not had a nap before she gets stupid tired between 4/5 and she has to sleep sometimes and then wakes up about 6/7 and then its ridiculous the time shes ready for bed. Her little sister is a beautiful little sleeper,but in 29 months shes had three different homes, three different beds so i know it must be hard. Its just gone from her getting tired, me taking her to bed at about 8ish, within 10 minutes shes sound asleep (this wwas only about 3 months ago) to this.... help! Haha. Sorry to ramble on its just im only 20, their dad left us when i was 12 weeks pregnant with my youngest, im studying a uni degree, so i feel like im losing the plot sometimes with how difficult her sleeping is x

Normally I never recommend having any dog with a child under the age of 4, but it sounds like your little one is "dog-trained"....lol. Why not stick with the small breed until your child gets a little older? If you are still determined to get a Dobe, Rottie, or GSD, go to the breed rescue groups that test the behaviors of their dogs before re-homing them. I would not trust a shelter dog with a small child, especially a dog of these breeds. Most of the time the shelters have no idea why the dogs were turned in, other than what the people tell them.... A legitimate breeder would refer you to others that have gotten puppies from them, so you might consider that avenue also. In your case I would definitely go with a puppy, but I' d do some serious research about any breeder you are interested in and get a tight written contract about what the breeder will back up and what they won't.

MBA as in master of business administration? Certainly the conceptual math is not difficult at all, most of the business students were C or B math students in high school. Math in business is still pretty basic and if what i've heard will not have any integrals and such. Mostly statistics and finances. Math is over-rated in the sense to average people in modern day life but the ytical skills that characterize most great math students is invaluable and is applicable to almost all fields. Theres this girl and i really like her and weve been friends now since May of 2009 and we got almost everything in common. So it kinda feels like we could be meant for each other. No, gramatically it is wrong.. It's like this: Doing things the right way is not always enjoyable (a kid is not allowed to watch TV beyond 8 pm, it's not fun for the kid since he would still want to watch up until 9 pm but to follow his parents is the right thing to do) but doing enjoyable things doesn't mean that those are the right things to do (the kid insisted to watch TV up until 10 PM and disobeyed his parents. We could accept that it works but if we are to follow certain "standards", most likely it would fail.. It's always better to make something work and it's right at the same time...

I feel depressed after everything i do?

for as long as I can remember I've become more or less of a recluse due to anxiety disorders and these days I have realised I wasted my life and I want to get back to normal. Problem is, after doing things in public I always feel depressed for no particular reason and just want to go back to hiding out at home... is it normal to feel like that? how should I get over this? I began the fentanyl patch on june 1st and its a 25mcg I change it every 72 hrs?

I change it every 72 hrs and i noticed that i do not feel any difference in my pain i hurt. i take cymbalta 30 in am and in pm for fybro and robaxin 750 one whole and a 1/2 in the a.m and one in pm as for the lortab 10 i take that as well one in am and 1 in pm .i found that soma did nothing just like the vicodin es i was on xanax 2mg 3 x a day but asked to taper down so im on 1mg 3x a day but have a 1mg for prn which i try to not touch. ok to i on may 2nd had spinal injections did nothing i have DDD and annular tears and herniated disks as well as a pocket of fluid on my sacrum i also have RA in my pelvis and knees and am just 40 yrs old and a mom i refuse to get a morphine pump or anything like that im told im not a candidate for surgery yay so i dont have to go under as i am one of those ppl who do not compleatley go under i took 7 shots of demerol and nothing not giddy drowsy nothing so i just walked into the O>.R not funny very sad! so i went to feel my patch and it fell off and i dont have another one to put on so i took the one i took off this a.m patch number 2 as i had my 1st on june 1 then june 4 and today the 7th so oh im also on flector patches and the lidocaine did nothing did i do the wrong thing i only notice one thing since on the patch im way hotter body temp wise and had it on my upper arm as a smoker i went out to smoke now i smoke in the shade but today i put the fent patch on my kneck just under the tank top well my T3 disk just coverd by the shirt but i forgot and my hairs to by so i put it up and sprayed sunblock 50 on and somewhere around 10 something i noticed the patch fell off as im alergic to adheisive so i had some paper tape i was going to apply but like i said the patch was gone is there any way they can put a colored marker on the patch to let you know if theres anything left on it as i took the one i took off this am at 7 and put it above my left knee w tape so id see it in the morning and not forget to remove it before applying a new one on the 8th did i do bad or wrong or should i just have left it off? the steroid i got may 2nd in my spine made me at 5ft 1 124 go to 148lb i wouldnt have cared about the wt if it worked but know im just screwed w nothing to were... as im homeless and stay well somewhere w no a/c or anything and its very hot so im just in a long sleep cotton t shirt w shorts to my knees someone help me i want off the lortab off the robaxin and refuse the oxycontin helppppppppppppp sommeone sorry for the typos as since the patch is off im very much in a fog and in much pain,i understand no one here is a dr but what can i ask the dr to do i dont wanna jump to 75 but if i did i think i can get off slowly the lortab for starters thanks

Start imagineing before you go to bed that you are so powerful you can over-power and defeat anything, this will need to become a habit for you to get use to it and for effects to work, it will not be instant, but you just need to start telling yourself that you are strong and can handle anything or any one no matter what they are or dead or alive you are stronger and in control. Tell yourself that in the mirror when you wake-up at least 5 times every day before you go to bed and when you get up, and after a couple weeks you will control your deams and it will bleed over into your life.

So i guess the issue im having now ...which is similar to the question i asked last night...i dont know what to do about my almost 4 yr relationship i have been in. He works nights and sleeps all day till about 730pm. I was at home and very bored on a hot day and wanted to get out of my house so i went shopping. Was gone for a few hrs because i went a few stores. I always take forever but rarley go shopping. Anyways..i left at 5pm and got home at 10pm. I called him as soon as i got home and he freaked out. My step dad abuses me, what should I do?
