Help with sons exzema!?

i dont know what causes your son's eczema, but if it is allergy related, perhaps to dust mites, you may be able to ask your doctor about seeing an allergy specialist. they have a treatment called immunotherapy. basically whatever you son is allergic to, the specialist will find out and he will give him injections of the allergen. perhaps once a week. it sort of trains the immune system to see that the allergen is harmless and over time the immune system will no longer respond to that allergen. this however is a very slow process, taking if lucky 1 year of injections once, maybe more times per week. this treatment can take up to 4 years to have a great beneficial effect. this treatment is incredibly more effective on younger patients than with older patients.
