What should I do? I met a very nice guy on a dating site, and we had one date and really hit it off.?

Here's the problem. I am almost 19 years old, I'm a full time college student and I still live with my parents. I'm currently searching for work but at the moment they support me. I had a long distance engagement and it's pretty much been over four months. I'm ready to move on. However they don't feel that way. They totally disapprove of the young man I met and they haven't even met him. They don't want me to date, and especially if I met him online because it's rebellious and improper. My dad says he make the decisions bc he pays my expenses. While I realize there should be certain expectations of me, should this be one of them?
