To answer your question, yes, I believe you do. I was the same. I have Aspergers, which results in me being unable to talk to people. I attempted that same experiment, and in the process found an attatchment object, another girl. I became close to her to advance the experiment, but soon after she found me creepy. I was distinctly upset when it happened, which lead to my diagnosis. Also, judging by the formality in which you speak, it is likey. My recommendation would be to see a paediatrician, or a psychiatrist, and make sure.
