Is it wrong to suggest to our youth that they learn how to use correct grammar and spelling when they publish?

Time and again I see questions posted with poor grammar and poor spelling. I have been flagged as it being improper to suggest that these people possibly spend time or money to learn how to spell. In this day and age of spell check, online dictionaries and many other methods to check out what you publish it seems to me we all should be a little more careful and even help those who may not realize they are doing things wrong.
