Please anyone help me my dog is dying n the vet doesn't know what else to do for him?

Just this past Thursday my monitors pincher mix was lethargic n not himself I rushed him over to the vet n spent 300.00 , his skin everywhere is bright reddish pink, he is loosing hair and his skin almost looks like a shar-pay breed. Its been 4 days n all they put him on was a steroid , an antibiotic , and a GI protection tablet. He looks worse to me she said she has never seen anything like it. Can anyone give me an idea what this could be. We recently have been getting rid of a tick infestation outside but no luck yet. He has had some ticks. The vet check a ton of labs n only his glucose wAs high prolly due to stress n his albumin was pretty low. Please I don't wAnt to lose him.. I'm searching everything online but can't find a disease for it. The redness almost looks like a yeast infection in dogs but it's not it.. Thank u so much.
