Writers: what do you think of fanfiction?
I love fanfiction because it allows you to write genuine stories using characters, settings, and personalities you love from someone else's novel(s). But I understand your frustration. Some idiotic authors there misspell many words and act like the story is written just for kicks rather than a serious purpose. But those people who write "Oh, don't read if you don't like" are true nuts. People give them constructive criticism and they complain, believing it's a flame. But we'll always have Mary Sue writers around, misspelling like they are five and making up dumb stories. But there are some great stories around, which balances it out.
