35 weeks pregnant with optic neuritis?

Hi there, I am 30 years old expecting my 3rd child, I have optic neuritis and had a MRI scan and was told i needed 3 days iv steroids, today i finished the steroids with no improvement, so the doc's are starting me on oral steroids starting tomorrow, is there any other treatment that i could get to help??? Is this a sign or MS???
